The flagship project of the Kortros Group — the HEADLINER residential quarter — has become a true breakthrough in the field of energy-efficient construction in Moscow. The completion of the final phase of this large-scale residential complex marked the emergence of one of the first buildings in the capital to feature solar panels integrated into its facades.
This innovative solution includes 720 photovoltaic modules from Unigrin Energy, embedded into the building’s facade system on Shmitovsky Drive. These panels not only enhance the architectural aesthetics of the complex but also generate electricity with a total capacity of up to 72 kW. The annual energy output exceeds 25,000 kWh — enough to power all common areas and help residents save around 20% on utility bills.
The technological sophistication of the solution deserves special attention. The vertical installation of the panels is ideally suited for Moscow’s climate, as it eliminates the need for regular cleaning and efficiently utilizes light reflected from snow. Each panel has a lifespan of over 50 years, ensuring long-term benefits from the adoption of this technology.
Designers and manufacturers developed a unique vertical mounting system for the modules, engineered to withstand increased wind and mechanical loads. This comprehensive solution serves as an alternative to traditional ventilated facades and has already been certified for use in both residential and commercial construction.

The economic benefits of implementing solar façades are significant: annual savings on utility bills can reach 170,000 rubles. Equally important is the project's environmental impact — reduced carbon emissions and decreased strain on the environment during high-rise operation.
The successful implementation of solar facades at HEADLINER is a natural continuation of Kortros Group’s strategy to promote energy-efficient construction. The company began integrating renewable energy sources in 2021 in Yekaterinburg and has since expanded both the scale and geography of its innovative initiatives.
This project showcases how modern technologies can be effectively integrated into the urban environment, creating a comfortable and eco-friendly living space for residents while achieving substantial resource savings.
